Two Fishing Lures by olivetreeann

Two Fishing Lures

A friend of mine is getting married and she and her husband-to-be wanted some of my pictures to hang in their living room. Since they both love to fish and the room is done in browns and blues, some fishing shots seemed to be a great subject to represent both of them. A friend from photo club lent me the props.
Cute!

This would make a wonderful present. It is a great half and half image too.

Love this, Ann! Your focus is so good and being mono colour the form stands out. Perfect! fav

They will love these, and how nice that they asked for your photos to be hung on their wall, you must be feeling very proud

Sorry Ann, I am not sure about this one.

They make a beautiful present. I thought you were going on a fishing safari at first.

I like how you've portrayed (chosen?) one to look more feminine and one masculine.

@homeschoolmom @littleconnie @maggiemae @nicolecampbell @peterday @sangwann @louannwarren @grammyn @kerristephens @dibzgreasley @henrir @cruiser @pyrrhula @eudora @wendyfrost @robz @bkbinthecity @mittens

Thank you so much everyone! I hope they like them too. We'll find out on Friday at the rehearsal dinner!

@peterday I'm not sure I'd hang it on my wall, but I am not into fishing.

@dibzgreasley It sort of looked that way to me too- although I hadn't started out with that intention.

Thanks for the favs too!

A little late, but I will still comment on it. I don't know too much about fishing. I just went along when Hans used to go fishing and we had great times. I asked him what kind of lures these are. his reply was: top one is a surface lure looking like a frog while the other one is a rapala looking like a fish for below the surface. I guess I learned something today. I'm sure your friends will like the present.

@bruni Thanks Bruni- and thanks for the info Hans!

Cool! I just showed this to my husband (because it's so unusual and creative). His comment was "At least they won't have to worry about getting the hook in their finger with those!"

Great

@lynnz Thank you Lynn! Oh, yes, I had to be very careful when handling them because they were sharp and meant to get stuck on whatever they came in contact with!!

@axika Thank you Alexandra! Good to see you here again!
