With October only 5 days away the temperatures finally decided to rise over 80 degrees F this week! The heat has hit me hard and I'm feeling very uninspired and unenergetic so today you get a simple documentation shot (which I actually took yesterday!).
Very pretty. not as hot as we have it, but I just checked the weather forecast for the next few days.
Monday to Wednesday still very warm. 27 C in the afternoon and 17 at night. Thursday a bit cooler, only 16 degrees C with 10 at night. quite a drop. I;ll be happy when I can turn the AC off/
This is a very pretty barometer (is it?) With us using centigrade instead of Fahrenheit I get confused translating your heat into our terms unless I use the calculator. Here it is around 27c and I still enjoy swimming in our warm (relatively) waters.
So funny, when I first saw it, I was thinking it had cooled down .... we are hoping for these temperatures next week when the cold front comes through.
@bruni I went to a site that does conversion for you and it says that 27 degrees C is 80.6 degrees F. That would be quite comfortable here! Thanks for the view and comment Bruni!

@sangwann Thanks Dione! It's a thermometer and yes, pretty but not exactly as accurate as it could be. It works for generalities! I'm not good at converting from C to F either. But I found a website that does it for you! 27 degrees C is 80.6 degrees F according to them.

Oh gosh -- you captured so well the super heatwave we've had. Now I'm looking forward to autumn's coolness -- thought will undoubtedly complain of missing summer one fall arrives.
@grammyn It's just been so kooky-krazy with the weather. We had probably 2 week's worth of "summer" weather and the rest of it was like early fall. Now that it's early fall, the summer weather is here. I'm just shaking my head. I don't remember it ever being this mixed-up and I really hope it doesn't mean we're going to have a bitter winter.
