My father was famous for his saucer runs. The longest one he ever constructed began at the far back corner of our backyard, crossed the backyard, down the first tier, wound around the side of the house, out to the front yard, down the second tier and would probably have sent us across the street had it not been for the snow bank he constructed in front of the low hedge that separated the front yard from the road! This one is obviously not as lengthy (or treacherous!) as that one, but I'm sure my cousin and I thought so when he pushed us over the edge. (I'm in front)
It's obviously snow for us in the northern hemisphere when it comes to our options today (snow or sand). We've heard that it is very cold in PA right now, but it's not as bad in KY. I can honestly say, "I don't miss it!!".
Thank you Connie, Lynda, Babs, Joan, Chris, Wendy, Kerri, Henri, Kathy, Kathy and Nicole! I'm sorry it's taken me so long to show my appreciation!
