The choice this week was to emphasize line, shape or space. Shape won out.
Just to clarify- this is not a collage. It's a jewelry box that belonged to my aunt, Leslie Jones. Other than the name tags that you can just barely see in the upper right and the thread next to them, it's filled with little pieces of memorabilia from me.
I love all the different shapes you've captured. You even got some great pictures in here which is next weeks theme. It looks wonderful together in this collage
Thanks everyone! Just to clarify- it's not a collage. It's an old jewelry box I inherited from my Aunt Leslie. You can see some old name tags of hers in the upper right next to some old thread. The rest of the trinkets were added by me- some jewelry which friends have made, silk flowers from somebody's wedding (I can't remember whose now!), my Dad's tassel from college (the black blob on the left), a pill box that was my mother's, and some bracelets made for me by different friends- one out of polished stone, the other beads.
Upon closer inspection one couldn't really see that this is not a collage. Thank you for taking the time to explain it to us and how fabulous that it became a collage even though it wasn't
Maybe I should explore some time

Thank you my friends. I've photographed this collection before, but in a different way. I like how it's a collage, but not a collage!
