Flash of Red 2018-17

This shot was taken last week but I should have waited until the morning before I posted it and I'd have been able to take another. It's snowing tonight and we're expecting to wake up to about 5 inches.
I love seeing little bird footprints around! Nice capture!

Neat shot! Good luck with the snow.

these simple footprints have quite an appeal. Hope you don't get too much snow.

@mittens @radiogirl @summerfield @kerristephens @eudora

Thank you Marilyn, Kathy, Vikki, Kerri and Diane! The snow has stopped, the sun is out and we're already seeing patches of the ground. Gotta love global warming!

Sweet scene of a b bird on its way somewhere.
February 18th, 2018
@taffy Thanks Taffy! They are Junco tracks. They hop all over my deck in search of little tidbits to eat. Fun to watch.
February 18th, 2018
If you follow the tracks, I'm sure you could find the bird.
February 18th, 2018
Great tracks captured but which way did it go.
February 19th, 2018
Nice shot of the bird tracks in the snow.
February 19th, 2018
I've never even thought about what bird footprints look like since we don't get snow. What an awesome shot!
February 19th, 2018
A little bigger and they'd be turkey footprints. Do you ever get any turkeys in your woods? We get them by my new studio and I almost shot some of the footprints. This is a great capture!

@henrir @wendyfrost @randystreat @cjphoto @sandrajo

Thanks Henri, Wendy, Kathy, Chris, and Sandi!

I don't have to follow the tracks- they are on the deck every day Henri! LOL

They go in circles most of the time Wendy- and then fly away.

Yes Sandi, we do get turkeys- usually in the fall, sometimes late summer, depending on the mating season I think.
