It's Ken Day

Did you know that March 13th is Ken day? I had no idea until my friend Ken informed me! But it's really not "Ken" day- it's Ken of Barbie and Ken day. The Ken doll was introduced in 1961 and he was named after Mattel Toy company's co-owner Ken Handler. Originally he came with swimming trunks, sandals and a towel but over the years, Ken like his lovely lady Barbie, had a number of careers and came dressed accordingly. So in honor of the famous Ken and the not-so-famous Ken, I'm posting a picture of the latter on one of our camera club's photo walks. Happy Ken Day Ken!
