Motion 1

I meet once a month with a very small group of photographers to discuss the more creative aspects of photography. We also choose a topic for the next month. Two of the photographers wanted to continue exploring motion. The third shared one of his techniques which I attempted to apply to the fire in the wood stove the other night.

I continue to catch up and fall behind. Please do not feel obligated to post on every shot- I know I'm uploading a lot!
This is a lovely (and disturbing because I see a pair of eyes looking! ) image of the flames! Obsessively fascinating!

which photo are we expected to comment on, because I am not doing them all.

@peterday whichever one you want- or none at all- I'm just catching up. I don't expect folks to comment on any of them but am pleased when they do.

Thanks for the views, comments and favs Jolene, Kathy, Haskar, Babs and Peter. The technique John taught was very much like ICM but he had specific settings on his camera. While this does not have the lovely pastel colors of his shots, it does have the fluid idea of motion.

I am glad this fire was contained in my wood stove, but I certainly am hoping that the fires in Australia and California are soon brought under control and stop.
