Architecture 2

I had some minor surgery today and my friend Karen was kind enough to be my chauffeur. We had noticed this barn the last time we were in the area so today we popped over to the property after my surgery and walked around in the rain taking pictures. Believe it or not, it was quite enjoyable!
Lovely composition

I'm curious about the star like shapes on the wall as well. Are they just designs or are they something functional? Nice photo BTW.

Thank you one and all!

To answer your questions- it was a very simple surgery- closing up a vein in one leg that was causing some swelling. It's a quick procedure and you are mobile right away (although you can't drive for 24 hrs.). In fact they want you up and walking so going on a photo shoot was a good way to get that task done! I am constantly amazed at how different surgery is for many things now. I walked into the operating room and walked out where in the past it would probably have been days before I was allowed to move. So all is well and I'm out and about tomorrow!

As for those decorative holes- I'm not sure what they are but I think they provide some sort of ventilation for the barn. That's my guess. I didn't think to ask the ground's keeper when we bumped into him. We may go back in the Spring or Summer with the photo club so if we do, I'll try to find out for certain. That was a good question!
