A Half and Half in the Library Garden

A quick post to stay on track- taken this morning at the Clymer Library after I took down my exhibit. The library has a garden designed to be a "layover for Monarchs" when they migrate. I think this box allows them to go inside but those who would eat them cannot get inside.

Many thanks for all your comments. I need to find out if my assumption is correct as I've never seen one of these before and I think I'd heard about them. Some research is needed!

Yes- I was correct. They are butterfly and moth shelters specifically for important butterflies like the Monarch that migrates through our area.
