Adrian Soccer

Although I can't drive out to Michigan to see every game, thanks to the internet, I can catch most of them. It never ceases to amaze me what technology has brought into my life since I was a child. Things that were merely ideas are now reality. When I was a child, computers took up entire floors of office buildings. Now a computer can fit in your phone. Television was in its toddler years. Now, I have a choice of watching things on tv or on line. The strange thing is, I'm really not that old!!
Awesome

@kerristephens Thank you Kerri! You're so great to comment on all of these filler shots!

I watched man land on the moon with my Great Granma. She was born before cars, and remembered reading about the Wright Brothers in the newspaper. I often wish I could share everything that has happened since with her. This shot tells me one of the things she would use computers for - to watch the Cubs! The information milestone I remember is the first worldwide television broadcast, and look at us now.

A great shot, and it is amazing how far the technology has come. It is really amazing to think back only a few years, remebering what we had to work with. It is also exciting thinking what it will be like tewns year ahead, and what we will be able to do. My Wife keeps hoping for the Star Trek teletransporter LOL.

@dmariewms Thanks Marie- it is mind-boggling, isn't it. How cool that you were able to share such a significant moment in history with your Great Granma! I remember watching it with my father and being surprised at how surprised he was. It seemed quite reasonable to me!
@digitalrn lol Rick- we'd probably still be late for work every now and then!
