@beachradish Thank you Beachradish! You're right- it hasn't. It used to be the doorbell for the side door at my grandmother's house. I brought it home when the house was sold and hung it at the sliding door at the back of my house- but we don't use that as an entrance, so it hasn't rung in a LONG time!! @espyetta Thank you MaryBeth! I am really struggling with this June Word challenge word list. It takes me days to figure out how I'm going to approach the shot- and then a few days more to figure out what to shoot!! I still don't know how I'm going to do "jaded" or "flamboyant"!
@allie912 Thank you Allison- I took the bell from several positions, but I liked this one best because of the spider web and the knot in the wood. @karenann Thanks Karenann! Yes, it's a fun little keepsake. @wenbow Thank you Wendy! @groovygirlrn Thank you Sheri! @kerristephens Thank you Kerri!
@digitalrn Oh yes, and our neighbor's barking dog!! Thanks Rick! @sarasdadandmom Thanks Terry! There are some people who avoid silence at all costs. Not me- I like it most of the time! @kimmistephens Thanks Kimmi!
I love silence - turn off the tv, turn off the music. Right now all I can hear is my fingers clicking on the keyboard and the clock on the wall. I have to say though that I love the sound of the rain.... and we have had lots of that lately. :)
Nice composition.
@summerfield Thank you Vikki! @cortens I love the sound of rain too Julie- next best thing to silence (o: I know for some, silence is an unwelcome "sound" but there are times when I know I need it. And in those times of silence, God speaks His loudest without raising His voice. @potsbypam lol Pam- yes at times it truly is!! @tanja_1211 Thank you Tanja! @salza Thank you Sally! This one's special because of where it came from but I would imagine and antique or collectible shop might have one lying around. @louisefrance Thank you for the fav Louise! Yes, I've always liked silence, but I've grown to like it even more now. @sarah19 Thank you Sarah! One of my favorite things about my little house is that it is located in a "quiet" neighborhood. @tammy73 Thanks Tammy! @filsie65 Thanks Phil! @sangwann Thank you Dione! @nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole!
@olivetreeann Ann if I do not have enough silence and alone time, I can get very unsettled and grumpy. In many ways, I am the opposite of my more extroverted friends who recharge by noise, people, and activities. Most of the time, people describe me as extroverted but I am not. I draw my strength from God and God speaks to me in the quiet of my heart.
@prttblues Thank you Bev! You are a great encourager. @cimes1 Thank you Carole! Wandered around and took a bunch of objects for this word, but the moment I saw this and took it, I knew it was THE shot. @woot Thank you Davide! I was really pleased with this one. I'm glad you like it. @potsbypam Thank you Pam! You and I are two peas in a pod! @sanera Thank you Samantha!
you just hit a homerun with this pic for that word! (what i have in my mind is me with a cross duct tape over my mouth! i just might do that, why don't i?)
@prttblues Oh Bev! (o: (o: @summerfield Thanks Vikki! lol that would be a unique take on the word- why didn't I think of that! I even have this psycho orange duct tape that would be perfect! Go for it! (Just be careful people don't get the wrong idea and report you!!)
