When I first decided to give the One Night Stand challenge a try, I didn't think I'd be able to accomplish the shot assigned today. It's hard to find an urban setting in a predominantly wooded area! But then my niece's birthday invitation came and my worries were put to rest. The word urban always makes me think of traffic and traffic lights. Sure enough we were stopped at one on our way through the city of Paterson to Anna's birthday party. Out came my camera and I was able to check that Urban photo off my list! I really liked the criss-cross pattern the wires are making on this shot, so it seemed appropriate to cross process it as well.
@worthitall Thanks Rashella! I did want to get that gritty feel of the city. @kerristephens Thanks Kerri! @maggiemae Thanks Maggie- but then we'd lose all these interesting photo opps!
@orangecrush Thanks Jerry! Me too- because my alternative was to shoot a wheel of the car on the pavement and pretend I was in the city! @salza Thanks Sally! @wenbow Thanks Wendy! @sangwann Thank you Dione!
@digitalrn Thank you Rick! @henrir Thank you Henri! @cimes1 Thank you Carole! @melorac Thank you Carole! @automaticslim Thanks Andy! I can understand that- I could have cloned them out, but most cities in NJ do still have some trees about them depending on the neighborhood. So that's probably why I didn't give it a second thought. @mrssmith Thank you Carla!
