Did you know that something like 90% of those germs that make you sick actually enter into your system through your mouth? That's why dental care is so important. At least that's what my dentist says! hehe

@salza Thanks Sally! @sangwann Thanks Dione! All I can tell you is this- Jeff and I are very faithful with our dental care and we rarely get sick. So there must be an ounce of truth in this somewhere. I don't know about Malta, but here in the US, it's doctors that advertise to the max. Especially drug companies. It seems there are at least 5 or 6 medication related commercials for every hour of tv. Of course, if you listen to the list of side effects (which they have to state) it makes me wonder why anyone would use it afterwards! @nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole! That little piece of trivia just stuck with me because it applies to me- I'm not big on doctors (only when all natural options fail), but I've always taken good care of my teeth and gums.
