Personal Portrait

Some folks have been participating in a challenge where you take a portrait of yourself using things which are special to you. It sounded like a good challenge for me since I hate doing selfies!! So here's a picture of me using symbols of the things that are most important in my life. I'm pretty sure you can guess what they stand for if you've been following me for a while. But there is one thing missing. Do you know what it is?
you!

@summerfield Sorry Vikki but it would not be me as it is a portrait without oneself but using things that you love. You can get it- just think 365!

Bev
Great shot, Ann. Nice set up and POV. You really should have put some kind of camera in the picture. Well done :)

great mementos

Just perfect. The idea and the execution. I too find people selfies rarely appealing. My own especially.

And I also like your choice of editing

Nice

As others have said, I really like the processing too and the simplicity of the items in the shot. The light makes the textures on the volume really stand out. Fav for me

@summerfield This is one of the effects in my new photo processing program Smart Photo Editor. But I don't remember the name of it- sorry!
@kerristephens Thank you Kerri!
@daisymiller Thank you Daisy!
@prttblues Thank you Bev! I didn't have a small camera like a charm to put in the picture- but I did think that it needed to be in there.
@sarasdadandmom Thanks Terry!
@frankhymus Thank you Frank! I enjoyed putting this together and trying to make it as simple as possible. It's not easy filtering down the things that make up the essence of who you are!
@digitalrn Thanks Rick- this is one from Smart Photo Editor.
@nancih Thank you Nanci!
@kimmistephens Thanks Kimmi!
@dibzgreasley Thank you Debs! And thank you so much for the fav!

Anne this is really great and the choice of objects are clearly really dear to you. Thanks for participating.

@soseema Thank you Seema. I enjoyed this challenge. It's quite thought provoking to limit "who" you are to a small handful of objects- but also very revealing judging by what you choose!
