Bloodroot in Full Bloom by olivetreeann

Bloodroot in Full Bloom

Had a nice afternoon with a couple of my camera club friends. We went in search of wildflowers and were not disappointed!
This is beautiful.

I've been envious of your photo club and it inspired me so tomorrow I am meeting with some locals to go see the tall ships

Beautiful. I have noticed the buds on my trees which I swear have just come out in the last few days. I love that photography connects us more with our surroundings. And pictures like this push me to look for wild flowers in my neighborhood. Just wish it would warm up a little.

love this angle! I like the sun/shadow feel to it too (I mean, the fact that you can't quite tell)

@sarah19 @pyrrhula @thresheg
Thank you Sarah, Pyrrhula, and Graham for your generous favs!

@pandorasecho Thanks Dixie! I'm glad to hear I've inspired you to connect locally. I was inspired by a couple people here to do it too- and that's how I ended up in the camera club. I wish our group could go see the Tall Ships! But I guess tall trees and tall waterfalls aren't so bad!
@httpgeffed Thank you Colleen!
@homeschoolmom Thanks Lisa!
@aikimomm Thank you Phoebe!
@salza Thank you Sally!
@nicolecampbell Thank you Nicole! The leaves are interesting in that way too.
@ltodd Thank you Lyn!
@joansmor Thank you Joan! It was warm for a bit here and has now cooled down a little bit- but still comfortable. It definitely makes it more appealing to go out and shoot''!
@francoise Thank you Francoise! It was somewhat in the shade at the base of a tall tree but since there are no leaves on the trees just yet, the bloom was not in complete shadow either.
@thistle Thank you Joyce!
@barb_b Thank you Barb!
@kerristephens thank you Kerri!
@henrir Thank you Henir!
@thresheg Thank you Graham!
@sarah19 Thank you Sarah!
