I couldn't get the moon last night because it kept hiding behind the clouds, but tonight it's boldly shining in a clear sky and the Screech Owl is making his presence known in the woods behind our house.

I'd see if it could be fixed, although your Nikon is probably better than the Canon, right? By the way, the T3i now has two new lenses! I bought a wide angle lens and a zoom lens for it and can't wait to figure them out! The car accident has somewhat knocked me for a loop. So hopefully I'll be my old self soon enough. Can't really read for a long time, or sit for a long time on the wood chairs. Too sore!

@summerfield Just Saturday night. I was on my way to a night photography workshop at sundown and had stopped at a red light with several cars in front of me. A young man drove right into the rear end of my car and knocked the bumper off. It gave me a pretty good jolt and I have some aches and pains but nothing majorly serious. Aside from the inconvenience of being without a car again, the good thing is that his insurance company will get me a rental so this time I won't be housebound. The car survived but will need some body work- which they will also pay for, so I'm on the way to feeling better but it's all in baby steps.
