SWOL 11

For the current Shoot Without Looking challenge. A friend and I had photos to drop off at a gallery in Doylestown Saturday and once our chore was done we went to see Fonthill an estate built by Henry Chapman Mercer in 1910. It is so named due to all the springs on the property. The "home" looks like an old castle right out of a fairy tale. The original shot here came about by not checking the settings and just raising the camera to take a shot- hence the very blurry building. I found this wonderful effect with the trees and snow as an overlay and then added some texture for good measure. So glad we can play with these photos in this challenge if we want to because I LOVE playing around with these things!

Catching up with all the challenges I usually join in- no need to comment on them all!
I like this. At first I thought a graveyard. But you have had some fun with overlays and to great effect.

Somehow I missed this, Ann, until I saw it on the post to vote. I love this. I too first thought it was a graveyard.
