Fiddleback Symphony by olivetreeann

Fiddleback Symphony

Discovered this beautiful fern while Joan and I were wandering around Grey Towers. It was fun showing her some of the special places here in the Poconos. Grey Towers was the summer home to Gifford Pinchot and his family. He was close friends with Theodore Roosevelt and is considered to be one of the founders of the conservation movement. He also served as governor to Pennsylvania on two separate but not consecutive terms.

I love how Fiddleback Ferns unfurl!
Such a striking image. I love the textures. It’s so monochromatic that they stand out as much as in black and white.

@golftragic I have actually had them- lightly sautéed in butter with a touch of garlic- very good!
