Marvelous Mushrooms

Four Fields Farm was selling mushrooms at the market and each one was a star in its own right but I liked the way these were put on display. The white was is called "Lion's Mane".

Lion's mushrooms in Poland on the red list of endangered species. It grows only on old trees and those less and less.

Thank you Taffy, Bill, Monique, Koala (I need to learn your name!!). Joan, Francoise, Katy, Ferry and Wendy! They did catch my eye and if I wasn't going to be walking around for a while, I might have picked some up.

@haskar Thank you Haskar! I am not sure of their status in the wild here but these are "farm grown". The farm is actually a small patch of woodland where the mushrooms are cultivated. Some are also grown in caves.
