Sam was listening to Gampy tell a story and the light was falling so nicely on his face. He loves that hat and looks so cute in it! I've played with this several ways. One version had more color but Jeff thought the one blanket was too pink. But I'm not sure I like the toned-down version either!
Thank you so much for all your positive feedback on this. I think sometimes we second guess ourselves and then dismiss the photo as not being "right". So your comments and favs have restored my faith in this one!
@onewing He is so self-conscious that I think if I showed it to him he wouldn't like it. I was lucky to get the shot without him realizing it.
@olivetreeann I'd keep it and show it to him when he is a little bit older, I am sure his confidence will have improved by then and he will appreciate it much more. Definitely one for the family album.
@onewing Actually I think of all the family members- his other grandmother will like it more than anyone else. It could turn into a Christmas present this year. The picture Sam is looking forward to seeing is a composite I'm working on of him climbing the wood pile (to be posted on 365 eventually!). We took about 7 or 8 photos of the whole sequence and I'm going to merge them all together in one image. He specifically (and nicely) asked me to send it to his mom when I was done, but I think if it comes out as well as I hope it to, I'm going to make it into a poster for him. To be continued... (o;
