Our photo club met up at a beautiful location today- a privately owned portion of McMichael's Creek under the care of the Pohoqualine Fish Association and the Pocono Heritage Land Trust. The PFA is the oldest fishing association in Monroe County Pennsylvania (possibly the entire state) dating back to the late 1890's. They recently partnered with the Land Trust granting them an easement to manage the land so that the headwaters of the Michael's Creek and two other area streams will now be protected and remain development free. What a day- the temperature was in the upper 70's and the sun was shinning brightly. Perfect conditions for picture taking!
Thank you so much to one and all for your views, comments and favs! I was impressed with my quick little cell phone snap and the color it brought out even though I took photos with my other camera too.
