From a display at the Schisler Museum. It depicted a deciduous forest and all the flora and fauna within. Shortly after we moved here I saw an otter in one of the swampy areas near my home. I was driving and saw it dive into the water as I passed by. It's the only time I ever saw one in the wild and I've never seen one since. One of my favorite shows as a child was all about otters too- A Ring of Bright Water. I think it was aired on the Wonderful World of Disney which my family watched every Sunday night. Wow- that was a LONG time ago!!
There is one famous one you might be meaning... Ring of Bright Water'. Looking at it, I think I would like to read it again.
This is great to show the otter's face.
Cute otter in the sketch. My husband, who had walked around the area near the other house and found a pond that was generally well off the beaten track, took my friend and I back to the pond to see otters. It was amazing to me. Never got back there again and I always wondered if they stuck around.
This is great to show the otter's face.
