Apples in a Basket

Today's prompt was food, and of course we had boring leftovers for dinner tonight, so... the apples in the fruit basket on the kitchen counter had to come to the rescue.

The "painterly style" is an app on beFunky called "gouache". I believe it was a technique that the Impressionists like Van Gogh used quite often.
