There is a lovely Wisteria arbor on the grounds of Grey Towers. I was photographing the canopy overhead and expecting to get some sun streaks in it due to the way the light was streaming through the light hole at the top. But I never expected to get this image! I have no idea or any clue as to what caused this. If you have any ideas let me know!
Thank you everyone- I may put this out on a discussion thread as it's so interesting and so inexplicable!
@maggiemae You can google it (Grey Towers Milford Pennsylvania USA) if you want more history, but the short story is- the Pinchot family built a summer home that was modeled after the castles, chateaus and country homes of France (their heritage) and one day Mary Pinchot decided the house needed a name. "What do you want to call it?" her husband asked. She looked at the two turrets on each side of the home and their slate roofs and decided "Grey Towers" would be the name. It's a lovely place too!
