Scribbly Gum Bark by onewing

Scribbly Gum Bark

A few days ago, on my way to Salamander Bay I stopped off at the wetlands to take photos of the scribbly gum bark and also to check out if there were any birds there too.

I love the bark of scribbly gums. It is my favourite tree.

The 'scribbles' are made by the larvae of the scribbly gum moth as it tunnels between the layers of the bark.
How cool! Thanks for the info too!
