Camels at Birubi by onewing

Camels at Birubi

Today started off very misty and turned into a beautiful sunny warm day, so we decided to go up to Birubi Beach and have a bacon and egg roll at the Blue Juice Café. This shot was taken from the café which overlooks the beach and sand dunes.
Jo
This is a fab shot, loves the dark camels against the soft blues and creams.

I'll have to look up this Birubi beach! What a beautiful place! The camels look great in the foreground and help to give extra depth to your shot.

"A bacon and egg roll at the Blue Juice Café". That in itself sounds great, but to sit and have this scene as well, Brilliant. Great photo!

@angelat Do you live in Newcastle? If you put James Paterson Street, Anna Bay into Google maps you will find it. Great photo opportunity. The camels are there from Friday to Sunday.

This is so unexpected and quirky, they're usually on a Christmas card or in the desert - not at the seaside! I love it, Fav.

Fantastic shot Babs. What I wouldn't do for a bacon and egg roll at the Blue Juice right now. Just made a cuppa soup from a packet!

@rhos @davidgnc Thanks for the fav Ann and David. Birubi is my favourite beach in our area and I just love the camels. We have about 200,000 camels in Australia a lot of which are feral. Here is a link about camels in Australia if you are interested. http://camelfarm.com/camels/camels_australia.html
