I was in the garden this morning feeding a currawong when I spotted the blue sky and thought I must get a picture of that.
The tree on the left is an olive tree, the dying fruit is on a white cedar, the tree behind the white cedar is a jacaranda and the one on the right is a blackbutt.
Haven't seen much more of the sun today though. Just after I took this photo I had a dental appointment, from there I went to the hairdressers to have my hair cut, after that I had to go and rob the bank because I ran out of money after paying out the hairdresser and the dentist. I have just come home now to download this picture, then I have a doctor's appointment and after that we are out for dinner tonight. It's all go!!
It is a beautiful winter's day today and the temperature is 18 degrees, blue sky and sunshine. Can't ask for more than that.
@paulaw I've said before the best thing about winter in Australia is that it isn't winter every day!!! We do get some nice days in there as well and today is looking like a nice day too. In fact the weather man reckons we have got sunshine and warmish weather for the rest of the week.
@derekvickers Thanks Derek. We needed some blue sky after all the rain we have had lately. Another beautiful day today too. Can't complain about this!!! Australia isn't a bad place to be.
@gerry Yes Gerry I am very pleased to see the sun. We don't usually get so many grey days in a row, but last week was really horrible. We can't complain though, we do get some beautiful days in winter too. 18 degrees yesterday and clear blue skies and it looks much of the same today too.
@elaine55 It is good to see blue sky. The last couple of days up here have been 21 degrees, but even though it is sunny it has gone a bit chilly today.
Glad its not raining in this photo. We have had a beautiful day today but this morning when I went out it was so cold that where the sun was hitting the plants and the bird bath water, they were steaming!!!
