This is a filler from a few days ago because I have had yet another busy day. Dentist this morning and U3A this afternoon.
I bought a bunch of flowers for a friend because she was feeling a bit down, and when I took them to her house I took my new glass orb with me too to show her. I took a quick photo of the flowers in her kitchen to show her what orb photos would look like and quite like how it turned out. If you look really close you can see her kitchen cupboards in the orb, but that just adds to the story.
I have an orb that I haven't used in ages.... hmmm, I'll have to get it out again! Your thumbnails are looking very colourful at the moment Babs! Gorgeous image....
So pretty and cheerful. I love how you bought your friend flowers but took the opportunity to photograph them too. Is this a friend who understands the photography bug? Ps really must get myself one of these!

Sorry for the group reply again, but this week has been so hectic and today hopefully I will be home all day. Bliss!! The bad news is I have to find the vacuum cleaner and do some housework. There is also a pile of ironing which is almost up to the ceiling too.
I seem to have encouraged some of you to dust your glass orbs or go out and buy one. Look forward to the pics.
Must dig out the vacuum cleaner now, it may need a dust though before I start!!
@angelat Just put crystal ball into ebay and there are loads of them. Mine came from China. I think it was about $10 and is 80 mm. I have a paperweight too which I have had for years and that is 60 mm. You can get them in various sizes.

This was such a spur of the moment shot when I was showing a friend my orb. Orb one hand and camera the other and click. Don't you just love it when photos work realy quickly.
