@jackie8 Thanks Jackie. A little bit sad, but I stayed above it. I can't go back there, I know where the bottom is and it is such a dark place I have to remember good times now. Sad day for Damien though with his Mum gone. Can't celebrate Mother's Day with Zoe any more.
@lynnz Thanks Lyn. The jar I got from the Reject Shop and it was a small milk bottle of the kind we used to have milk in at school (in the olden days)!! It is I believe a third of a pint size bottle.
@eyesmile Thanks Gena. Had a lovely quiet day. a bit sad in places, but had a lovely long chat to Deb on the phone. Grandson Damien is coping better now too which is good.
@angelar Thanks Angela. I tried flipping it and you are right it does look better. I wouldn't have thought that as it was from right to left, but I showed David both images too and he thought flipped one too. Thanks for that. We have got an exhibition at Tanilba House at the end of the year and that subject is flora, so I think I will put this photo in that exhibition.
@onewing I'm glad that worked. I've always worked with things on the left so they have "somewhere to go" but we had a talk at our camera club a couple of months ago and the chap said that the eye travels to the upper half and right and therefore always put your interest there. He demonstrated with lots of shots and I've tried it myself and I'm a convert! Your lovely shot comes to a point somehow with the gerbera on the right, I feel, and I think the gorgeous focus, detail and colour really comes out with it there. I'm delighted you agree!
