Thanks to everyone for your kind thoughts yesterday. I really appreciate it. I am bouncing back again today. Don't stay down for long, but it was a pretty heavy going day yesterday.
Today I intended going off with our walking group but I have got a few problems with my knee at the moment, so I decided to just go for the lunch afterwards instead. If someone else is cooking, I'm eating! Had a brilliant lunch and of course, they forced lemon meringue pie on me afterwards too, so I thought I had better do some walking later today. I went into Nelson Bay and had a lovely walk around the marina and the boardwalk taking photos and I just loved the colours in the sunset tonight and the reflections on the water.
I am so lucky to live by the ocean and there is nothing better to lift the spirits than a walk by the water.
I have tried to catch up on your pictures today, but if I have missed some I apologise, will try and catch up more at the weekend.
I seem to be permanently behind these days Babs! Glad you are feeling a bit better, this is a wonderful sunset shot, beautiful colours and light on the water. Ps Love lemon meringue pie, haven't had it for ages!
@annied@netkonnexion@creampuff@hermann@karlow75@flyrobin@sioux@quietpurplehaze@pcoulson@gamelee@paulaw Thank you all so much. I am a bit behind now with commenting so hopefully will catch up with your photos today.
Feeling much better today and nothing like a couple of walks on the beach to feed the soul. This wasn't the most dramatic sunset I have seen, but the difference in the colours of the sky once the sun has gone down is so beautiful to watch. It changes every minute. Very peaceful.
This is a gorgeous sunset Babs! Glad that things have improved a bit, and sharing time (and food) with friends is a big help too. You are right about the water being so comforting. Keeping you in my thoughts. Take care!
@april16@eyesmile@dgrynn Thanks so much. Nothing better than the beach and the ocean to feed the soul. A lady was standing on the boardwalk next to me just as the sun was setting and she was taking photos. I said wait until the sun has gone down and then take the photos because the sky changes so much. That is when you get the best pictures I think. She stayed and agreed with me. She was here on holiday.
glad you are feeling happier again. read your write up re yesterdays shot and am sending my love. must be so difficult for you. love the colour in this sunset
@jaynspain Thanks Jayn. Just had a lot to deal with in the last couple of days and it brings everything back. I bounce back though and much brighter today. Thanks so much.
@onewing That's just gorgeous too. Definitely a fav. So sorry to hear you've had a tough time recently. But you can't keep a good woman down, and I'm sure you'll come through it all OK in the end. Group hug??
