Another photo from or photo club outing to the Australian Reptile Park last Sunday. Here we have a sailfin lizard from the Philippines. This chap was behind glass so I think I did pretty well not to get the glare from the glass in the photo. Isn’t he beautiful, he is even smiling for the camera. Apparently Sailfins can grow to about one metre long, most of which is its tail.
Fantastic capture. Amazing detail. Great looking lizard, with the red on the mouth, looks almost like he's wearing lipstick or wanting to give you a kiss. ;)
Brilliant detail which is all crystal clear, you did a great job in getting this through glass Babs, they obviously keep it quite clean! I like that intense stare in his eye, all round a winning photo! Fav.

I was really pleased with this shot and it came out better than I anticipated as it was taken through glass.
