Friday people day and a couple of weeks ago I posted a low key black and white photo of this chap taken at Tocal. He is a bush poet and here is a colour version of him.
I suppose I will give some of you a bit of a smile. Yes he has a beard. ha ha.
His name is Bob and here he is reading one of his poems. In the background are some of the photos he has taken out in the bush. If you look closely you will be able to see the lady in the oil drum having a bath. I wish I'd have taken that photo, it is brilliant. Improvisation in the outback.
I would like to thank you all for your comments on my last few photos and also a special thanks for getting two of them to the Popular Page.
I haven't had a good time the last few days as some of you will know, but I am bouncing back.
I will be a bit limited with my Internet and computer access for the next couple of days as David is in the process of transferring all my files to my new computer. So will catch up on your photos when I can. Sorry about that.
Such a fabulous looking character, a wonderful portrait and I cant help but mention the beard! The bearded portraits continue, keep them coming, they're wonderful!
This is so awesome Babs~ Nicely composed and love the story. I am using my husbands computer right now. Not used to it and of course I can't spend as much time on it. Hate computer problems. We do have a spare that I can use until I either get mine fixed or a new one. ICK Hope you are feeling better???
What a great Character and a great portrait tou have taken Babs. I too wish I had taken that shot of the woman having a bath it is fabulous. I am glad to hear that you are feeling a little better too and you know how bad I can be at commenting. I am desperately trying to catch up until I fall behind again!
@onewing Lol Babs, if only! How often does your club meet? I should be preparing my 8 photos for Tuesday, we have creative without reflections and I can't get motivated.
@elaine55 We meet once a month at our club and we take two photos along each. One on a designated monthly theme and the other open. How on earth do you manage to come up with 8 photos?
@onewing It's a struggle Babs and I always leave it to the last minute, we have talked about doing less but it hasn't happened yet and before I joined they use to do 121!! I want the creative shots to be different, I have had some in mind for a while.
Thanks so much for the comments and the favs. He really is a lovely chap. I took lots of photos of him and he asked me if I would email some so that he could put them on his Facebook page. I did and he replied by saying he didn't realize what an ugly bugger he was, ha ha.
Hope you feel better real soon!
