Spring has sprung by onewing

Spring has sprung

Today is the first day of Spring in Australia and the sun is shining and the temperature is 23 degrees C. Yesterday and today have been beautiful weatherwise. It really brightens up the day when the sun is shining and after a pretty sad week, I have bounced back.

I wanted to post a picture of Spring, but I thought, flowers, butterflies or sunshine were a bit ordinary so here is a 'spring', well I know, not exactly a spring, but pretty close, it is a slinky and that is a kind of spring isn't it and it is colourful. Works for me, ha ha.

Sorry I have been a bit out of touch this last week. Every time I try to catch up something happens and I fall back again. This week is going to be pretty busy too, but I will catch up whenever I can.

This month's topic photos are - Evening and Night photos hope you enjoy them

@annied Thanks Annie, I hope this week is better to ha ha. I think it will be busy though. Mainly nice busy which will be good.

I hear we are to get more rain, but two days of sunshine has been great and just what was needed.

@julzmaioro Thanks Julia. Sh! yes it is the slinky for Archie. Needless to say he hasn't got it yet. They are all coming up here for a visit in the school holidays in a couple of weeks time, so he will get it then, honest. ha ha.

@onewing yes the sunshine mostly made me feel better too although through the night and this morning I felt an emptiness - a loss of connection - it has been found again though so I feel more whole again

Yes spring has arrived, we had had 3 glorious days down here but our first day of spring is wet, but we can never complain about rain. This shot is very apt, colorful and looks great on the black.

Hahaha, everyone loves a slinky! I used to play with a rainbow slinky like that at my old job - very therapeutic. :)

Really cool slinky. It takes me back to when I was a kid, and would 'walk' it down the stairs.

@golftragic Not so much storm damage this time Marnie. gained a couple of bushes in the wind and lost two dead limbs from one of our trees, nothing drastic though. Still blowing a gale tonight too. roll on summer, ha ha.

@onewing Amen to the last, Babs. Sunny to start the day and got steadily cloudier and cooler. Probably our fault for hanging out a line of washing.
