Newcastle - Little Planet by onewing

Newcastle - Little Planet

I have had a hospital appointment in Newcastle today so have been out most of the day. After having lunch at Kotara we went into town to take some photos.

It has been a beautiful autumn day here today and the temperature has been 27 degrees c (80 f)

I have thought about creating a little planet photo in Photoshop for quite a while and I have finally got round to doing one. I was quite pleased with the way this photo of the centre of Newcastle looking towards the ocean has turned out.

If anyone is interested in how to create a little planet, here is a link to a Gavin Hoey tutorial on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rbTE71PMYE

Thanks to everyone who commented on my sunset photo yesterday and I have just noticed that it is on the PP.

I will catch up again on 365 later this evening.

Thanks for the info Babs. This looks amazing - one more thing to try! Fav

This is wonderful. Did you find it hard to follow and do? I have PS elements but the only thing I know how to do with it is add text to pictures. Maybe I'll give it a try one day.

@lesip Hi Leslie, this is so easy to do. I use Photoshop CC and the link is above. I will copy it again here for you too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rbTE71PMYE
but it should be more or less the same in PS Elements. If not I am sure there will be lots of tutorials on YouTube other than the one I have shown. Give it a go, you will be really surprised as to how easy it is.
