I am so glad that it is Friday people day again because you wouldn't believe the difference in the weather between yesterday and today. I haven't set foot outside today.
Last night we had a terrific storm which lasted about five hours and today it has bucketed down all day. After the beautiful day we had yesterday, today's temperatures are a bit of a shock to the system. Only a couple of weeks till winter here in Australia and I think it has arrived a bit early judging by today's weather.
Today's people photo was taken a couple of weeks ago at Birubi Beach and I just loved the reflection of the surfer on the water. The early evening light was a bonus too.
A beautiful capture and composition ! Shame the weather has decided to turn to winter at short notice !! Have a good weekend and lets hope you are feeling stronger and better as the days go by after your op
A great capture Babs. Summer is struggling to arrive here and not making a very good job of it! So pleased you are managing to get out when the weather allows. Hope your good progress continues
A lovely shot, though how he can surf in that sea without a wetsuit, I don't know! It was a 'cold' 21 degrees today, which is as cold as I want it to get!
@beryl@thistle@sioux@cruiser Thank you all so much. Yes I am fine again now. Luckily I heal very quickly and can carry on more or less as normal now. Just no heavy lifting for a few weeks though. Apart from that everything is going well. Haven't tried to eat fish and chips yet though, which was always a big problem before I had my gall bladder removed.
A great shot ...love the reflection and lighting. Sorry to hear winter is setting in so early! We have had drizzle days (typical) but hoping for some sun and warmer days later next week.
@jennywren Thanks Jen. We do get some good storms, but luckily not as drastic as this last one too often. They are usually further north in Queensland, but this year we drew the short straw.
great reflection
