First of all thank you all so much for the amazing response to yesterday's photo. I was blown away to see so many comments and favs.
Friday people day again for me and I took this photo at a café where we were having a cuppa while out with our walking group a couple of weeks ago.
Note: sitting in a café and not doing much walking, ha ha.
We had finished our walk and were waiting in the café for some of the stragglers to turn up before going off to the pub for lunch.
You will notice that there is much more eating and drinking rather than walking with our "walking group".
This chap was in the café and I just loved his hat and asked if I could take his photo. He said that one of the regular customers to the café made it for him.
We are out for dinner tonight so won't be able to catch up until tomorrow probably.
An instant fav Babs ! such a beautiful candid portrait ! Hasn't he got a wonderful infectious smile ! and that wonderful crochet cap really sets the scene !!
Isn't it great when people are happy to pose. Great portrait shot and love the hat. Walking groups I have belonged to always start and end at the pub that does meals!
oh Babs what a beautiful portrait. You are brave asking some one if you can take their pic. I have only been brave enough to ask if I can photograph their dog! but that's a start I suppose.
@beachdog Give it a go Barb I am sure you will get the hang of it. I am lucky that I am of the right age to be able to chat up young blokes and old without sounding sleazy, ha ha. I only have to tell a bloke that he looks fantastic and can I take his photo and of course they will say yes. Tell a young girl that they look gorgeous too and they usually oblige.
This chap was a lovely character and such fun to talk to. I told him how fantastic he looked and asked if I could take his photo. With a line like that he isn't going to say "No" is he. ha ha. He was gorgeous though and I loved his hat.
The rest of our walking group who were in the café, of course, told David that I was chatting up people to take their photos. David is used to that though, so nothing new there.
