I spotted this chap sitting eating his sausage sandwich and drinking coke at the Agricultural College Fair at Tocal and I thought not quite bush tucker, but he was definitely dressed for the part with his akubra hat, drizabone coat and Blundstone boots. A true blue Aussie.
He spotted me too by the expression on his face, so I went over and asked if he minded that I had taken his photo. He was okay with it though so that was fine.
I usually ask first and then take the photo later, but I wanted to be quick on this one and get him without actually posing.
I was going to say perhaps he had indigestion but see Gloria beat me to it! The expression 'a bulldog chewing a wasp' springs to mind too. Great candid photo Babs.
Ha ha Babs, I don't think he was ready!! Funny that's the second time I have heard of that type of hat, Kate the Wife of Prince William was wearing one like that last week when she was on the cover of Vogue magazine!
Dunno why, but I get the distinct impression that he's none too rapt with you taking his photo Babs. The Akubra and Drizabone both look awfully new to me. You should see my Akubra, it's 15 years old, at least, and I'm still breaking it in.
