Scribbly Gum Bark by onewing

Scribbly Gum Bark

I just love the patterns on tree bark and while out with our walking group last Thursday I noticed this scribbly gum bark and thought it was worth taking a photo of it. Can you see the pelican in the bark?

On our walk I took lots of photos of tree bark and I will post them in a collage tomorrow. I just love all the different patterns.

Still busy with painting and we have just finished the dining room. Now to put everything back in place. Lounge room next.

yes! I do see the pelican. I love the different types of bark. I am sure all your hard work will be well worth while. We need to do the same to our place. Its a big job to move everying though isnt it.

A super bit of squiggle --I can see the Pelican -- spotted him before I read your info -- I think that this would make a lovely abstract if tilted on its side with the pelican lying on the "sand " with the " sea" above on the horizom !! OK I might be mad !! but it works for me !!

Sorry for the group reply, but it has been a long day today. Car in for roadworthy this morning, out at a U3A presentation this afternoon and now a quick turn around before going out for dinner and photo club this evening.
Managed to get the dining room back to full order after being painted too and also done two loads of washing and got it all washed and dried. I am going to be ready for bed tonight.
