Day 4 of my 'Walk in the Woods' and this is the tenth flower photo I have posted on 365 since the beginning of this year.
Rachel and Marnie are concerned that I may need more therapy, so this should possibly be the last flower I post until the end of the year.
I had no idea what the name of this flower was either, so I really have to thank Google again for identifying it as a dusky coral pea. It was lovely to see it growing in the bushland.
It looks like a sweet pea, I have them growing in my garden and can't wait for them to flower, they smell delicious and look beautiful as does your photo.
@888rachel@golftragic Flower number 10 and this should be it for the time being. I am back on the medication now so I reckon I will be cured until the end of the year. At least that is what my therapist tells me, ha ha.
I should bloomin' well think so, you're right out of my Babs comfort zone mate. Nevertheless, I must say this is a stunning shot and I must fav it. Ticks my boxes.
maybe there will be no stopping you now that you have developed a skill for the floral photo? Nothing wrong with a flower now and then - sometimes it is all there is on offer. This is well captured.
@pusspup Yes, that is what I came up with. Kennedia rubicunda and dusky coral pea are one of the same. I just used the common name. Well that's what Google thought.
@taffy Thanks Taffy. I think I am cured of photographing flowers now for a while. My theme this week was of our walk in the woods though so I had to include flowers. Perhaps I should have taken a photo of the tick that drew some of David's blood and the bull ants that bit into me too. ha ha. Think I will stick to the beach for a while now.
It was taken on our walk in the woods though so of course I am going to find some flowers along the way. At least I have discovered the names of two flowers that I never knew before.
