Watching

Thanks so much for the amazing response to yesterday's female koel photo. I was so lucky that she stayed put long enough for me to take the photo because they are usually so nervous.

This pelican wasn't nervous though, he was too busy watching the chap fishing on the breakwater to take much notice of me taking photos of him.

It was early evening and two fishermen were gutting their fish and throwing the offcuts for the pelicans. Needless to say there was quite a gathering of pelicans all ready to take the fish.
