I am posting a bit late tonight because I went for a walk along the beach and the breakwater.
I haven't done any people shots for a while so it was fortunate that as I walked along the breakwater I spotted this chap who had just caught a baby shark.
I quickly asked if I could take a photo and pleased that I managed to get a couple of shots before he had to put it back in the water.
love the look on his face - really pleased he popped the little Port Jackson back in the water
hope you are doing well Babs - a walk on the beach can only do good :)
@casablanca Thanks. He was thrilled with his catch, but luckily he put it back in the water. Never seen a Port Jackson shark on this side of the bay before.
@peterday I don't want to see the one that got away. Although Port Jackson sharks are quite small as sharks go, they can still grow to around 1.6 metres long.
@flowerfairyann Thanks Ann. He was thrilled with his catch, but he did put it back in the ocean. Yes it was a lovely evening, still around 25 degrees C, not bad for autumn.
Yikes- a shark! Even a baby shark would have me a little cautious! But you can see by his face he's quite pleased. He's going to enjoy this shot when you send it to him.
