Marching

Thanks to everyone who commented on yesterday's Smile for the Camera photo, I am sure the camel was pleased he appeared on the PP.

Sorry I haven't replied to you all but I will catch up as soon as I can.

I am a bit short on 365 time at the moment. We have been at a friends house this afternoon. Tomorrow I am out for lunch and David is off on a Dolphin watch with friends. We are out for lunch on Thursday too, out for dinner on Friday and out for dinner again on Saturday, so it will be Sunday before I have to start thinking about cooking again. ha ha.

I had the idea for this photo a few weeks ago and finally got round to doing something about it. It made me think of little marching men. Can anyone guess what it is a photo of? I am sure you will see it quite quickly.

Matches? this is very effective.. love the silhouette and the uneven ground.. i think you have placed them in rows of 9 (?) but the angle of view has placed your 'marchers' in groups/cliques, like a crowd of folk milling and chatting.. extremely creative and very well done..

@jorlam No Jorlam not matches. That is another idea I have though. Maybe when I get a free day I will make a photo using matches.

I am a bit late catching up tonight because I have been out most of the day at our ladies lunch and then when I got home we had thunderstorms all evening. I believe Sydney has been hit really hard with the storms, but not too bad as it arrived here, just went on for a few hours and bucketed down with rain.

Like Jorlam, a lot of you first thought this shot was of matches, but I think I gave the game away when I said it wasn't that and the next thing most people thought was a hairbrush. Indeed you are right it is a hairbrush. I was going to post a photo of the brush in my topics album, but it is getting late and I have only just put the computer back on as the storms have moved further north. Off to bed soon because I have another busy day tomorrow.
