I have had a whole day at home today, doesn't happen too often. It hasn't been a very relaxing day though because we have spent part of the day sorting our log shed and chopping logs.

@hermann Our firewood comes split too, but the wood we were chopping was wood that we acquired from friends and also from a tree we had to prune back in our garden. Thank God for chain saws and log splitters, they make the job a lot easier.
@nicolecampbell Pretty chilly here today too, we had a terrific thunder storm last night and it has bucketed down with rain ever since. 46 mm according to our rain gauge since 4 or 5 am. Not quite as chilly as Canberra but still cold enough for me.
@nicolecampbell Checked our rain gauge figures today and we had 9 mm rain in May and 232 mm so far this month and we are only on day 19. No wonder I am getting webbed feet.
