No photos today, so this is a photo I took a few days ago at Little Beach.
The building you see in the distance is the Boathouse. It is now a restaurant and we had our 'ladies lunch' there a couple of months ago.
All of our ladies agreed that we wouldn't be going back again for a meal there.
The meal wasn't too bad, but it was very expensive for what we actually got on the plate. I think we were paying more for the chef's creation rather than the quality or quantity of the food.
It is a lovely setting for a meal though and I suspect we were paying for that also.
Water, sand, woodland - yes i could while away a delightful afternoon here..
i can fully understand not wishing to be ripped off again.. i don't mind paying, so long as value is included in the deal.
What a wonderful image full of light and colour, really like the lead in lines taking the eye through the image, it looks so warm and inviting yet its a winter shot for you Babs, lol:)
@pcoulson Thanks Peter. It was quite a nice day. If I remember rightly the temperature reached 20 degrees C. Not exactly tropical, but not bad for winter.
@sangwann Thanks Dione. It was a weekday here and also it is mid winter here in the southern hemisphere, so nobody swimming at the moment. The temperature was around 20 degrees C but not warm enough for some of us thin skinned people.
The food is the most important but this is certainly a lovely setting, very nice for once but perhaps you wouldn't go back for the food! Makes a pretty scene!
