Ha ha he looks very ill to me Babs! I should get him to A&E quick sharp if I were you!
He has his twinkle in his eye back I think. Thank goodness he is better!
Oh Babs, I'm just catching up.........sounding like David is on the mend. I know you are resilient but make sure you are taking good care of yourself too xx
@gigiflower@cruiser I spoke too soon I think. David and some of his friends build a model railway on a Saturday and one of his pals picked him up this afternoon as he can't drive at the moment. While he was at his pals house he bent down to put some spanners away and dislocated his vertebrae. He has spondylolisthesis and his spine dislocates very easily. He is now unable to walk at the moment. I will be glad when this year is over.
@gigiflower It can't be treated just has to slip back in place on its own. You wouldn't get close to his back with a barge pole as it is so painful. He broke his back years ago during his RAF days and two of the little hooks that attach each vertebrae to the next are broken so that vertebrae just moves out sometimes.
Catching up at the end of a frantic fortnight. I feel for David. I had back problems in my early 20s, spending 3 weeks in traction...et alia. I wish him better ASAP and understand the sheer pain and discomfort. Bless you both.
.
So pleased for you both that he is on the mend, so to speak..
David looked less scary with the blue and red lights than he did with the green one. He thought the red and blue made him look quite distinguished
He has his twinkle in his eye back I think. Thank goodness he is better!
His colour has returned to normal again now though.
I am okay, well sort of. I will email you.
