Blood Bath and Lunch Break

I am going to be a bit limited taking photos over the next week so I will be posting some more shots taken at the Clans on the Coast Festival last weekend.

Here is a diptych showing the Vanguard Re-enactment team displaying their Viking battle skills.

Of course, after any battle the victors have to have a lunch break of coke and meat pies.

Haha, at least it's not burger and chips they are eating. A lot of blood must have been shed with three dead and I don't know if there are any more. Love these re-enactments. Thanks for sharing.

Great shots Babs, never been to a re-enactment, must go sometime. Wouldn't it be great if they were made part of the school curriculum, it would make history so much more fun to learn...says I thinking back to my school days and my history lessons which were spent relentlessly copying the teachers notes from a chalk board.....yawn yawn...
