I am a bit late posting tonight because I took a friend out for coffee and a walk around Nelson Bay this afternoon while her husband was in Newcastle at a medical appointment. David and I then took them out for dinner this evening.
We spotted a few kids dressed up for Halloween on our way out, but it isn't as popular here as it is in other parts of the world.
A real “ stand out” shot! I don’t remember Halloween being a big thing when I was young at all, I think it’s in recent years that it has become more popular here.
Stunning how you did this. Very well done. Fav. Halloween has only started getting popular these very last years here. Some people say it is about celebrating the devil.
why on earth can you not take photos in the shopping centre? don't they know they are on a slippery slope and need to encourage people not alienate them? how very odd. Great shot...like how you have manipulated the background to create such a strong image.
David and I don't celebrate Halloween here, but we enjoy going out for a meal with friends instead.
This was a costume hanging in a store at our shopping centre and a quick snap with my phone and then putting it on a black background in Photoshop worked quite well.
We aren't allowed to take photos in our local shopping centre, so I risked almost getting myself arrested to take this shot, ha ha.
