First of all thanks so much for the amazing response to yesterday's Spot the Ball photo and for putting it on the PP. Sorry I can't reply individually because we have been out all day and I want to catch up a bit with 365 and check out your photos this evening.
We have been at Lemon Tree Passage today with our walking group and then out for lunch.
I saw this houseboat on the waterfront while we were having a cuppa before our walk.
It has been a lovely day today 32 degrees C and sunny. Not bad for an autumn day.
David suggested the title for this photo because the houseboat moves very slowly but the owner's yacht is handy if a bit of speed is needed.
I don't know if anyone lives on this houseboat permanently, but it has been at Lemon Tree for a few years now.
It's a strange life to live on a houseboat, isn't it? I'd have to moor up a lot and get off and stretch my legs. I have a friend who lives on one here and she loves it.
@casablanca I do like the idea of a houseboat, but I do need my space and even though this is in a sheltered spot I am sure David would still turn green. He gets seasick going on the ferry across the bay to Tea Gardens and that is only a short trip.
