No idea how old Jean is but she looks fabulous! If that's living in Australia I want some! The sun must do you all so much good with all that vitamin D.
@kathiecb Thanks Kathie I have emailed her a couple of pictures.
@happypat Thanks Pat, I have no idea how old Jean is either, but as we are all in and around the 70 age group I am sure she must be seventy something.
I don't even know how old I am, ha ha. It is something I don't think about because it changes every year.
I think I must be 42, the same age as my Mum admitted to. When Mum got too old to say she was 21 she stuck at 42 and stayed there until she died in her 80s.
At Mum's funeral I asked my sister how old Mum was and she said 42 and we both burst out laughing. I am sure Mum would have laughed too if she had been there in person instead of in spirit.
@onewing That is such a lively story Babs. I think I will stay at 42 as well! Were you in Australia when your mum died? I live the sound of your life, so many lovely jaunts & friends to have meals out with. It's certainly doing Jean good! Thank you for telling me that story! As you can see up in the night again. Just waiting for the kettle to boil.
@happypat I have lots of friends who are 42 it is a popular age.
Yes we were living in Australia when Mum died. I went back to the UK for the funeral, that was 1994 and the only time I have ever been back to the UK.
