You get some very strange looks from people as they walk or cycle by on the bush paths when you are sitting on the ground taking photos of a crystal ball.
I heard one little boy saying to his dad as they cycled by ' "what is that lady doing' His dad said, 'not sure, keep cycling'
Ha ha ha, what a fabulous conversation to overhear! I would have said to the kid "she's a fairy queen trying to capture you and put you in her crystal ball, RUN!" But then I have a bit of a wicked sense of humour with kids...!!
Ha ha !! great to be able to eavesdrop on such conversations aimed at you -- at least he didn't ask his dad "Is she a Witch " !! What a lovely result though Babs !
I had to smile when I read this....you are a nutcase obviously Babs! Oh dear are we even allowed to say that these days?
Well whatever they said it didn't distract & you captured this wonderful upside down reflection.
@happypat Nutcase, me, never, just a bit strange. ha ha. I am used to funny looks and comments when I am out taking photos now, especially when I have a crystal ball in my hand.
@pcoulson I was sitting on the ground with the camera on the gravel. I don't think people could miss spotting me, ha ha. I did get a couple of cyclists ringing their bells as they passed, but wasn't sure if that was a warning or just saying hello, or maybe more of an exclamation as to what I was doing.
Well whatever they said it didn't distract & you captured this wonderful upside down reflection.
I think the Dad was worried in case I turned them into frogs or something even worse.
